I've seen it a few times on the pegs. It was one of those figures in the second or third wave of the Hulk Movie figures that when the first two waves weren't selling so well, it didn't make it out in force as it should have.
Very cool figure - I just stayed away from the movie figures for some reason
y'know, until this thread, I had TOTALLY forgotten there was a Hulk movie...
was it any good?
I liked it -
It was a "set up" movie. You needed it to set the character up. I know some were disappointed in that it wasn't a "Hulk-out" movie from the first frame.
That is what sequels are for
worth a rental, then?
I guess all of the Hulk Dogs went shipped directly to Miami, my neighborhood Target in particular. For a while, that's all that was on the pegs from the HULK line.
Pete, HULK is very slowly paced and has a ton of character development. Ordinarily, that wouldn't be such a bad thing, but the movie has too much character development and not enough "HULK SMASH!!!" It's an Ang Lee Hulk movie... very different from what you'd expect from an "action" film. Maybe I'd watch it if it was on cable and there was nothing else on, but that's about it.
Other people I know love it, though.
well, maybe I'll con our guitarist into renting the dvd, then...
I didnt think it was all that bad. I've seen a lot of much worse flics
Yeah I picked one of those dogs up a while ago. Since it doesnt really go well with marvel stuff, I have it next to the Laura Croft figs. Not bad.
